SODH

Ambassador/Scout

Be SODH's trusted voice in your community.

Help skilled workers where you live learn about SODH, know their rights, and find their way to a real trade test.

The role

An ambassador to your community. A scout for skilled people.

  • Share accurate information

Explain how SODH works, what a trade test involves, and that workers pay no fees.

  • Spot skilled people

Meet tradespeople in your area and point them to SODH, so they can choose to take a trade test.

  • Bring local insight

Tell us which trades are strong nearby, and what questions and worries workers have.

It suits people like

  • Workers back from jobs abroad
  • Trade trainers and instructors
  • Experienced tradespeople
  • Community organisers

Workers need to trust you. So there are hard lines.

  • Never charge a worker

No fee, deposit, or favour, for anything, ever.

  • Never promise a job or visa

A trade test shows skill. It does not guarantee a job, a visa, or a placement.

  • Never share details without consent

A worker decides whether to come forward and what to share.

  • Never influence a test result

Assessors score what they observe. Ambassadors stay out of it.

  • Never go beyond local law

Recruitment rules differ by country, so the role is shaped around what is allowed where you are.
